just have to share this testimony... Praise the Lord! He is good all the time! this lovely lady had a repeat total knee replacement on the same knee last month (first surgery was about 2 yrs ago) & was still swollen & in pain. Her doctor told her that she would not be able to get back to work til 2 days before Christmas which is very frustrating for a busy single mom! Richard shared & offered for me to try a Bowenwork session yesterday after church. When I saw her, she was in some pain & discomfort & needed a cane to get around her home. I worked gently since her knee was so swollen, warm & tender, even though it has been a month post surgery. Her patella was barely palpable because of all the swelling. I left her with a supply of soda crystals & instructions how to use it to help draw some of the fluid out & mentioned that I would check in with her later in the week... Within a few hours, she emails this message... Im so very happy Im walking around without my cane and Im trying very hard not to over do it it, but I cant help it, it feels great..........;0) I cant wait to tell my therapist, my physician and all my friends about the method. I may even have to schedule a session for my mother when she visit next......) Then this morning this email... Good morning Vickie OMG, I feel great this morning, I actually slept through out the entire night I only woke up once to go to the restroom and then I immediately went back to sleep. Vickie, I must tell you its been a while since Ive been able to sleep through out the night, you are truly a blessing. By the way I spoke with my girl friend last night (I was so excited) and she would like to attend the next session. The swelling has gone down quite a bit... Yes, there is a little tenderness but nothing like its been. I will keep you informed of my progress, truly this is an exciting period in my life because I feel as though I will be back to me soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I cant thank you enough.
