(just need to vent). Ok, so everyone here is always posting about how hard it is to be a trucker and how no one understands. And Im the VERY FIRST ONE to raise my hand in agreement. Its a really hard life and people take it for granted. But its no cake walk either for those of us at home who love a trucker.The constant worry, not knowing exactly where she is, holding down the fort, taking care of business alone (while working full time ourselves), making sure things are nice when she comes home, the disappointment of not knowing when youll see each other, the difficulty in maintaining a connection and intimacy.Not really wanting to make too many plans that cant be cancelled at a drop of a hat just in case she does come home. Not to mention trying to be sensitive when she arrives to her needs: rest, down time, quiet time..sigh, But I do love my Trucker..
