GRAPHIC AND DESIGN The Graphic & Design process helps in communicating the designers mind & thoughts in ways other than verbal to the people -consumers or end users- for information purpose, value judgement, artistic value among others and the designers merit of fulfilling their own value for art as well as making ends meet. There is much to graphic and design in contemporary time both in concepts and tools. In concept, design is more than art as scientific approaches sometimes define its process. The designers ability to conceive in rational terms and magnify their conception in art using signs, symbols and colours. Not only do people want to see the design but the meanings or memories. In tools, as against the traditional and primitive ways, there has been advancement through the practical aspect of science termed technology. Software and Machines for design and printing. Now do we say its the era of CADs , though the old orders still remain pertinent. In the light of current trend and methods is Graphic and Design viewed as an art and a science.
