just watched cant buy me love and say anything back to back.not much of a romantic movie fan but these 2 particular 80s rom movies have acquired such cult status that i felt compelled to watch the legendary scenes where Patrick Dempsey and Amanda peterson ride off into the sunset on a lawn mower and the other where John cusack is holding a boom box over his head wooing ione skye.Its like a movie buffs rite of passage from a pretender to a true aficionado..these scenes are always used as references and i needed to be in the know..now star trek and star wars(yes im not a big fan of the old republic and torchlight like apparatuses which are actually swords!!)but then again..i must explore these so called epic movies....-diligently back to work.
