For thousands of years , religion has been the number one cause of wars , death , and misery in most parts . The most peaceful people are those who keep their faith to themselves , they let their faith determine their actions . I have studied most religions , but I do not consider myself a religious person , I lean more towards spirituality than following some obsurd man made rules . I use logic and reason ... I suggest, therefore, that we reclaim the basic notion that a compassionate, ethical, and interesting human being doesnt need to be either religious or spiritual. He just needs to be human. Be a humanist, as in someone who is trying to live up to the best of what humanity can be. Now, wouldnt that person make for an interesting soul? Wouldnt that please God . We all have been brainwashed from childhood to think like our parents and our community has ....You know about god , because someone told you about it . You did not figure it out on your own . Arent animals the creation of the same god ? which god do they pray to and which religion to they belong to ? Yet they are far better than humans . You do not see an animal under the name of Jesus Christ go kill 100s of black people , burn them and hang them , just because they are black , you do not see an animal under the name of Allah go kill other animals in a jihad or kill other animals because they did not cover their hair . do you. To an animal , color and species does not matter . They live to survive , they do not commit the crimes that humans with strong faith do. In Quantum Physics , we do not deny the existence of god , we seek to understand it better . We seek to explain why prayers work and explain it scientifically instead of accepting it as blind faith . Through such scientific research we get closer to the source , call it god if you wish . What has religion done for the last 3000 years ? All inventions came from the curious minds , from those who did not think like the rest . How many medicines have any religion discovered ? how many lives has religion saved ? We simply need to give thanks to god , and stop relying on him to do our work for us . Think deeply , hold on to your faith at the same time try to understand that your faith and 100s others , were NOT dictated by god , they were written by man of great convictions of their time ..They are not godly , they are simply rules for a given society ...And all these rules are different depending on which society we belong to. What god however did do for ALL OF HIS CREATION was programming their genes , DNA so that every single cell in the body works perfectly without us even being aware of it !! From our hearts beating to our lungs and brains and nervous systems working so magnificently... Now , that , is what god intended , the rest of it , our thoughts and beliefs ...are all man made. God also gave us free will !!! When you wise up some , you can come back to the QP Group , if you wish - but you need to have a more positive and productive attitude - with respect for all . You can not possibly know god if you do not know yourself and how your brain works , and you can not possibly love another , unless you have love for yourself first . Cheers
