Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ. 1Pet3:16 NLT The believers couldnt stop their accusers directly, but indirectly, by responding in gentleness& respect. At the end, their slanderers would be ashamed. Brethren, have we been familiar with the pains of false accusations and unjust sufferings? -If yes, how do we respond in such situations when people ask us about our faith or to explain ourselves? -do we respond gently or harshly, giving our false accusers more words? *When we are spoken against, does our conscience condemn us? -If no, why? Because we did no wrong or because our consciences are seared? Beloved, its a painful experience to suffer unjustly, but we have a Saviour who is ever ready to help us out. Heb4:15-16. God help us all. Amen
