#knowtherealtruth2015 My desire for Nigeria is that God will bless us with credible leaders. At first, I thought Buhari and Osinbajo were the chosen one, but in recent time, am beginning to have a second thought on this ticket. Why? First, Buhari claim that Abacha was not corrupt and that he did not steal any money was a shocker, Secondly, Osinbajo campaigning inside BRT bus even when he is aware that the law that set up this transportation system forbid preaching, product promotions and campaign inside the buses. Buhari and Osinbajo claim of fighting corruption is questionable since the process that produces them as presidential candidate is a corrupt process and again Buhari failed to understand that corruption is not an individualistic personality, but a systemic characteristic of a people. Rawlings of Ghana arrested and executed all perceived corrupt politicians in Ghana when he came into power, but today Ghana is not a corruption-free country. Do you know why? because you don’t solve corruption through EFCC, or any other agent for that matter but you can reduce corruption by addressing the social elements that are promoting corruption such as the gap between the rich and the poor, the dearth of the middle class, access to credit, lack of good and sustainable jobs, youth development programs, qualitative and affordable education and greater opportunities for self-development. These are tools required to fight corruption and they are lacking in Buhari strategy on the war against corruption. It is not advisable to use religion and tribal sentiment to vote. But how can you convince real Christians that Buhari is not a religion bigot and supporter of Bokoharam when he said earlier this year that killing of Bokoharam is a fight against the North? Why did he say Muslims should only vote for Muslims? Why did he say nothing is bad in practising of Sharia in a secular country like Nigeria? Why did he oppose President Jonathan when he proscribed Bokoharam? Why is he deceiving Nigeria that he is poor? Buhari was a former governor, former minister, COAS of Alhaji Shehu Shagari whom he betrayed and overthrowed without reason, a former president, a former director of PTF during Abacha.. He had been in government since 1967, he participated in all coup de tat in Nigeria except Babangida ‘ coup that overthrew him what is the change he is bringing now? He earns 50million naira per annum as life pension apart from the 23million he receive every month as basic salaries, what does he do with the money? How many Nigerians earn 50million naira per annum? His children are grown up, he is over 70years old, and he claims to be a poor man. If he decides to lie to gain sympathy he should know all Nigerians are not fools. I as a Christain could vote for late MKO Abiola, can vote for likes of Shehu Shagari or Fashola,, Nuhu Ribadu but Buhari is not a change but an agenda of those that want to Islamise Nigeria. i can never be fool in with the evil slogan (change) of the APC. *Keep sharing to keep Nigeria democratic and free from Oppression VOTE WISELY come February 14th.
