l always think of pink and black being from the 1950s but it was very popular much earlier as well. The first flapper gown from the 1920s has an Art Deco design. It was made of silk and covered in beading. The second dress is from the 1930s and is also made of pink and black with an embroidered bodice. The last picture shows a 1940s jersey rayon dressing gown in jet black with a peony pink inset front of skirt, pink buttons and tie around the waist.
