l am supporting Dr Kayode Fayemi for second term in Ekiti because the good job must be completed. Dr Kayode Fayemi was sworn into office on 16th October 2010 after the Court of Appeal by a unanimous decision nullified the split judgement of the Tribunal which has earlier upheld the decision of INEC which awarded the Gubernatorial election to Engineer Segun Oni of the PDP. On assuming office Dr Kayode Fayemi has stated that he would be guided by an Eight point Agenda in government. He surrounded himself with intelligent people as Commissioners and Advisers and he ensured the House of Assembly can boast of Quality people who have proved themselves in their different fields, Dr Adewale Omirin a medical doctor of nearly thirty years experience was elected to be the Speaker of the House, Chief Adetunji Orisalade a Barrister and an experienced Lawyer of more than twenty years was elected the Deputy Speaker of the House, the cabinet and the House of Assembly for the first time in the history many professionals to work with the Governor, no wonder the House of Assembly was voted as the most hard working Assembly in Nigeria kudos to Mr Governor. Amongst the achievements of Mr Governor is the Road Construction in Ekiti, that remains one of the best in the country, the ikogosi water spring is another project started and completed by Mr Governor, the Assembly Complex was already an abandoned project before the arrival of JKF, the money for the elderly is a viable project in Ekiti which most elderly enjoyed and are praying for JKF. The different Agric projects in Ekiti which is providing jobs for our youths cannot be over emphasized, for the first time in Ekiti, the JKF administration is creating an enabling environment for Entrepreneurs to invest and thereby create jobs for the youths. The JKF ADMINISTRATION created the ministry of Rural development to ensure that all towns and villages in Ekiti benefits from one developmental programmes or the other and as l write all towns in the State have benefited from one government project or the other. The JKF administration supported and recognised some towns to have autonomous thereby given them political autonomy which have been denied them for many years. Minimum wage was jacked up from the N7500 to N19300 by the JKF administration, Car loans, Housing loans and many other facilities which were denied to the teachers and many civil servants for many years were restored by the JKF administration. Payment of salaries to state workers and local govt workers become uniform as a result of the giant stride of JKF as both now get salaries at the same time. l have no doubt that based on the above achievements Ekitis would support and vote JKF for a second term. JKF RE ELECT.
