last night I had the enormous privilege of attending intar theaters production of ADORATION OF THE OLD WOMAN. it is safe to say that under the direction of Lou Moreno, intar is having a renaissance. mad shout outs to my boys Ra Cast and Jose Joaquin Perez for giving complicated, nuanced performances. Carmen Zilles hilarious goth American reminded me of young cp and especially Socorro Santiago for lighting that stage on fire! and finally to the master himself Jose Rivera, for being one of the reasons I was inspired to be a playwright to begin with! thanks for continually sharing amazing stories, showing that you can be yer most authentic self while still evolving and changing and for setting the bar so high for all of us! congrats to everyone involved in this extraordinary production !!!
