last night a man and his wife approached me and a friend as we were walking into a store to order pizza. he explained to us that he was from out of town and he was having some issues, his company hadnt payed his hotel bill and they wouldnt let him back in his room, he had seeked out help from a local church who in turn told him they did not help people outside of their church. he was not asking us for money, he simply said they were hungry, and had no way to get any food. between me and my friend we gave them enough money to get some food, and at first he wouldnt even take the money! he told us he would rather have the food than the cash, so we told him to come inside with us, and there he ordered food for himself and his wife. it feels awesome to know that I have helped someone in need. and I hope one day if needed someone would do the same for me. (:
