last night debbie and i had dinner at clydes wine and dine in nyc and took her son nick.......we watched the whole knick game on 50 tv sets, which made the loss more painful.....but the highlight of the night was about 45 minutes after the game, in walked clyde himself, in the flesh, as real as real could be.........after greeting some custumers, i went over to him and shook his hand and said....36..19....8....and he laughed because those were his game 7 stats against the lakers in 1970 when the first championship was won.......so he knew i was a real fan....and he could not have been nicer.......i introduced him to debbie and nickie and we took pictures and spoke for a few minutes about the current team and why he wore pumas back in the day......then we said our goodnights and it was over......took me 45 years to get there........i don t think i ll be around in another 45...........but it was a glorious moment for me........ah, if life could only always be like this........
