The storm will arrive in Massachusetts late Saturday Evening,bringing heavy rain and gusty winds. now I expect heaviest rains to be anywhere from Boston and north, and west of the City along the border of Rhode island. which is where you will see the orange and yellow colors.. anywhere in that color is a good 2-3 of rain on Saturday Evening.Northwards, towards NH, will also see some rain from this system, heaviest being in SE sections where up to 1 is likely, elsewhere, central regions can pick up a half inch of rain.Cape and Islands will pick up a good drink of water too, with rain amounts between .80 on far south Islands to as much as a 1.80 nearing 2 to far North of the Cape and Islands. fast forwarding to 3am Sunday, the storm would have started leaving Western Massachusetts, however Boston and South, including Cape and Islands, will see another additional 1-2 of rain, parts of Northern Cape and Islands can see additional 2-3, where already 2 had fallen.. giving total rainfall along the Cape and Islands between 2 and 5, its also at this time the rain would have moved into the Yarmouth area, also including rest of Nova Scotia, Yarmouth would be now picking up a good 1.5-2 of rain at this hour, in a very short time. rest of NS would be picking up nearly a inch of rain. fast forward to early Sunday morning around 9am. heaviest rains continue to battle Yarmouth, and become worst widespread across Eastern NS, Shelburne areas can pick up a quick downpour of over 2-3, meanwhile yarmouth can pick up another near 2. total NS rainfall is between 2-4 while some areas may pick up a isolated 5 in Shelburne areas. rain ends by afternoon Sunday. Winds... winds will pick up from the SW early on Saturday for US SE coasts.. winds gusts up to 30mph likely all along from Boston to NY. winds will intensify as storm gets more powerful, bringing winds to nearly 30-40mph from Boston and Cape Cod all along Canada East coast.
