less than an hour until it is officially christmas day..........well, the middle of the night, but still christmas day ! lol. i am ready for the madness to begin. i sent thads birthday card (his birthday is the 10th of december) in plenty of time so that i was sure he would get it either before, or very close to, his birth day; he just got it ! yikes. my familys (except shyra) christmas cards are going to be VERY late because i havent sent them yet, which is ok because i havent received any from them so far, so i dont feel too bad. i wanted to make sure thad got the b-day card first, since the last 2 years they have been returned to me with unknown on them and i had to resend them...........todd was possibly moving, i thought scott HAD moved, but it turns out they didnt, and i didnt have trevors address in hawaii ! i still dont know about todd, but the others are good, so i will get them out some time in the next week. lol. i have my potatoes peeled, the sweet potatoes cubed and in the dish, with brown sugar and butter,the parsnips, squash and carrots are peeled and ready, the ham and pork roast are thawed and awaiting their respective pots, i have cauliflower to steam and mushrooms to grill. the rolls are ready. i made them today. i love the smell of bread baking. all the desserts are awaiting their last minute decorations (fruit and cream for the pav and fruit for the cheesecake), the cookies need to go onto a plate and that is it. i am so organized im thinking i must have forgotten something. if i did, tough. well survive just fine. i have pickled beets, homemade cranberry sauce and applesauce for sides. i love it when a plan comes together. now, if i can just remember the pictures.
