let me get this right… People are against behavior assessments on shelter dogs, yet want to know if the dog is ok with other dogs… People are against choke and pinch collars to control dogs, yet will use a gentle leader that yanks a dog around by their muzzles. People are against using corrections on dogs for bad behaviors when positive methods dont work, yet have no problem dumping the dog at a shelter to be euthanized. People dont want shelters to kill dogs that are aggressive, yet offer no solution to rehabilitating them. People dont teach dogs structure when the dog is young, yet expect the dog to learn it through osmosis. People are against training methods that make them feel uncomfortable; methods that can may give dogs a second chance at life because their first chance was robbed from them by a person who thought they had a stuffed animal, not a living breathing being with drives and a personality. Maybe its me, but I believe we live in a world where political correctness has surpassed normality and is teetering on insanity.
