life was HARD during the time of NOAH, heck there was no glade or tidy cat! Heeey Now! Darren Aronofsky made a darn fine Biblical movie that is action packed, full of death and even contains a lesson about God, man and love...if yer taking the kiddies and Grandpaps to see the animals leisurely walking into the ark 2by2 and smiling at one another like we learned in bible class dont bother! animals snarl, bite and kill but we dont see any of that, instead the movie spends lots of time on the CHARACTERS and what happens BETWEEN THEM like in the 70s before they had cool special effects...that crazy nut Noah is some green dude too which Im sure is why The Creator put him to the test. Oh you mean G-O-D? is that so freaking hard to say? The actors are pretty good here, the sound is insane in IMAX and youve seen the effects before in 50 other movies but I thought the screenplay had good intentions, especially when talking about mans freewill and that is about as interesting as a Bible lesson as you will get watching this. Just be happy we get to see Anthony Hopkins as mystic Methusaleh and Ray Winstone as Tubelcain is wicked evil. See it in Imax, dont be a cheapass...
