…light.beer… Regardless of protest by Congress against financial funding rules for political parties, the Election Commission (EC) is reported to be, ruthless, although IDEALLY, to slap such rules! Really? Great! India’s stars seem to be re-brightening! Yeh…albeit the public at large feel and fear that Congress may not be in minority to oppose financial funding rules for political parties…It must be having direct or indirect and total support from all the political parties. Even their arch opposition party, BJP, too will not be an opposition party in this matter! And they say the election expense limit for a candidate will continue. Any rule limiting election expense by a candidate is limited to be only a rule in the rule-book of EC, as how and who will verify how much was reapply spent by any candidate? Why!?!...the government officer concern will verify physically all details of such expenses. Haa…haaa….haaaa…..any verification by a government officer will only add to election expenses by any candidate! You mean…including ACB (Anti-corruption Bureau) and CBI and IT (I don’t mean Information Technology…I mean Income Tax)!?! Yaah..yaah I mean including all that. But even when there is no Peak Earning Season like the Election Season, you see almost every week a news-item in media that An IT ( I mean Income Tax ) officer arrested for amassing enormous unaccounted money! For IT ( I mean Income Tax ) officers Every Season is Peak Earning Season….in fact, they don’t need any Season for Earning because Earning itself is an evergreen Season for them. Like that for Politicians? Oh…oh….yaa yaa..more or less…no no..more.. much more like that. last laugh The parliament membership of one after another convict is being scrapped these days! Let’s pray that the Speaker of Loksabha and the Chairman or Deputy Chairman of Rajyasabha will not be convicted, even if at all they have done anything not-worth-doing! -- Somdutt
