lots of fascinating arguments made during this debate. Im not sure Craig was crucified in this debate. I didnt pay enough attention to score the debate. Craig is a brilliant proponent for the existence of God. However, Pigliucci seemed to do a great job of engaging Craig. Pigliucci comes from a scientific perspective. So, when argument got to philosophy or biblical scholarship, he was a bit out of his element. However, he seemed to grasp the major philosophical element of looking for the most reasonable explanation to account for events. How the existence of a very complex being such as a god, prior to anything else being more reasonable than a universe springing from an empty point in space is beyond me. The latter is a simpler explanation, and to that it makes more sense to me. Of course, listening to Craig try to use science to back up his arguments of the existence of god make me laugh. As many do, he cherry picks from writings of scientists but does not study or understand science. I just shake my head.
