m.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-30648181 76,000 people were killed in the Syrian civil war in 2014, with 1 in 20 being children, and a quarter being civilians. This is the deadliest year of the conflict. There is no end in sight to this terrible war. The Moderate opposition have to all intents and purposes disappeared, apart from a few armed pockets of resistance, so now the West unwittingly finds itself on the side of Assad in the war against ISIS. God bless Syria. I hope that one day, all of the sectarian bloodshed ceases, and all of Syrias people, Sunni, Shia, Kurdish, Christian, Jewish, Druze or other, can go back to living in harmony, as they had done for centuries before this war broke out.
