m just wondering about violence prisons i think dere are several factors making matter worse lyk pre-existing prisoners characteristics( male middle age prisoners r more prone to perpetuate prison violence dan deir females counterparts n much older prisoners. Management practices is dah other important factor to look at lyk staff models, staff skills, training, prison structure n management style. The other factor is outside environmental influences lyk political pressure on prison administrators and racial tension. To counter this some strategies should be put in place like manipulation of inmates privileges, n improvement of supervision of both staff n inmates. Inexperienced officers are also more likely to become involved in violent incidents, cz they are perceived by aggressive inmates as ambiguous* lol. dats my taking on prison violence n would like to hear from u especially from those who has experience on prisons...
