I figured Id share a clip of Derrick Jensen for you all. Hes been writing and fighting this issue for a long time. Hes controversial and radical and definitely passionate. Im not a Jensen disciple or anything and theres points of difference and contention for myself in his beliefs or approach but the essence of his observations are quite honestly on point. Divest yourself of agenda, tradition, comfort or unreasonable defense of unreasonable ways of life and I think youll see that a clinical pragmatic view of the current culture and social construct is fatally flawed and in need of severe and radical change regardless of ones political, religious or economic tendencies or allegiances.
