Considering that Ohio is an Open Carry State....I cannot see any justification as to why he was shot and killed... I cannot speak to whether or not there were verbal commands given, however...it can reasonably be concluded that The deceased is far enough away to where as long as he could have been heard screaming after being shot... That yelling a distinct and verbal command should have been heard. How no charges were filed against the guy who falsely reported the deceased pointing the weapon at people and loading the weapon which by the way are two distinct actions....is beyond me. Im not one to openly criticize the decisions of the state, but I can now see why this tape was not immediately released. I hope that the JUSTICE DEPARTMENT comes to Beavercreek and examines this tape ... I seriously do.... Now to the naysayers who will come and say Ive somehow ridiculed the police or bashed them...know something....Ive been in the shoes of those on the other side with far greater threats than just a singular person with a gun...to where a calculated decision must be made in what can only be described as within the blink of an eye....so please dont think Im just on some tirade about being anti police or anything else....bottom line, this event needs another set of eyes.....
