I was no older than 7 and was sitting on the backseat of my dads old merc driving from Molteno to visit my gran in Jozi. I remember the car because the backseat was bouncy and my little brother sat on the arm rest in the front seat between my folks. I remember hearing Tom Pettys voice and knowing this is the road that Im gonna follow. Thanks to my dad for a childhood full of great tunes.
