makesmethink/ --> Today, I went to the animal shelter to find a dog. Most of the cute puppies were being adopted, while one larger 6-year-old (scruffy looking) dog sat sadly and alone. I adopted him so he could see what a good, loving home was like. Tonight, that loving dog basically saved my life when a robber broke into my house at 2AM. The dog started growling, woke me up and alerted me to the intruder, and then lunged at the robber, biting his leg before he ran out the front door. I’m not sure what would have happened if the dog wasn’t there. MMT
