many of us have dedicated our lives to working with abused women because of wonderful women like Zahra ... I know that many peoples hearts are a aching tonight after reading this story . We want to empower women to make the choices that they want to make but when faced with this terrifying outcome is when you feel it is right to step in and try to convince women not to return to their abuser. It happens however and it happens very often due to the circumstances that you have to face as a single mother, societal and community pressures and the general impression that a murder suicide is an exaggeration and unlikely ...Well ..it is not ..It happens ..it happens often ..Women and children do get murdered by their partner . Children murdered by their father in this case. A wife. Murdered by her husband . Do not forget Zahra , Ferris and Zalim
