maybe its me, but it seems like we are losing the beauty of language through abbreviation and unwillingness to spend an extra millisecond spelling or pronouncing a word in its entirety.. almost as though we will forfeit some cherished and infinitesimal moment of time that could be spent in pleasure elsewhere....And it seems to have roots in an instant gratification Internet culture; some sort of drive-thru version of the former version where words felt more meaningful.. but now convenience has replaced meaning. Feels like a very essential piece of our humanness is being coerced into believing that meaning should be sacrificed at the altar of speed. And what if years from now Earth becomes a sort of tower of babel and no one can truly communicate with each other? what if all is lost.. well, nothing to do with the song... just thought of it really. carry on~~!! ))
