@megabus @megabushelp heres the complaint with the BBB I filed (complaint # 9897482 in New Jersey). Feel free to let me know if any of it is not true. I have support for all of it: Purchased a trip through megabus and then later changed one leg of the trip at megabus as well. After changing the first leg of the trip, I realized it had charged me for 2 return tickets. On 1/3/2014 I called the support number for megabus to ask that they cancel one of the return tickets as I was traveling alone. I was told that they could not do that on the phone and I was instructed to send an email to inquiries@megabus and ask for the trip to be removed. That was also on 1/3/2014. I received a reply from inquiries@megabus stating that my email had been received and that it might take up to 5 days to process and reply. If that 5 days fell within their 24 hour cancellation window before the trip, I would need to call. I waited until 1/8/2014 and called again as my trip with the 2 tickets was on 1/10/2014. I was told that, since I had sent the email before the 24 hour window, I would still be ok and they would eventually refund my account. However, 1/10/2014 came and I took the trip back and never received any word from them. I then went to twitter and found that @megabushelp might be able to help me. I contacted them and was told that Megabus does not refund trips and nothing could be done since the trip had already been taken. Now, on 1/23/2014, I finally received a reply to my 1/3/2014 email stating that they dont refund trips. This has been a terrible experience all around with late buses both ways and no wireless network access on either bus even if I had room to work, I couldnt have. This was just salt in a wound as far as I was concerned.
