It will surely place retiring union workers as the next major group of working people to be plundered by the same political and economic interest. This truly will reproduce the intentional disaster that is Greece in most of it worst features. Though the banksters will be bailed out if they deem it necessary, the pension funds have been deregulated entirely. Retired union workers and their pension funds will be abandoned even though the US government has the capacity to bail out pension funds the same way that that the thieves of Wall Street have been made whole from their losses by the US Federal Reserve, soon to have a repeat engagement.
