moms finally home - while i am glad we did not have to wait til now to eat, i did not like strangers in the house. shes pretty wiped out and says she is sorry, but will likely have to repeat the routine tomorrow. gramps had a episode today right in front of mom and her sister and it was very upsetting to them both. gramps lost all function on his right side for about 2 minutes while he was being moved from chair to bed. during that time he was also non-coherent. unable to move his leg or arm and barely able to squeeze the nurses hand when just moments before he had complete control and strength. and just as quickly as it went, it returned. neurologist seems to think all related to the stroke he had within the past 2-3 weeks (as per his read of the cat scan) anyway, i think i should get her to bed. looks like tomorrow is going to be another long day. a BIG thank you to all of you for your support, loving kindness, expressions of care and well wishes. we hold them all dear and have passed them along to gramps. he was rather impressed! :) what could mom say? she knows ive got a very impressive bunch of followers. :) purrs to all of you. good night.
