It may fall on deaf ears to the recipient for awhile longer but the more we write and protest in large numbers, the closer we are to overcoming the ordeals we face world wide. This letter below is from Rotterdam, Netherlands. You are not alone. Much of the world is on the same page; however quieted and patronized by media. Be persistently vocal everywhere, not just on FB where we mostly share information among like minds. We must do more than regurgitate what we know. "PLEDGE FOR EXECUTING YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ON FOOD SAFETY (version 1.1) Dear members of the commission, You have been given a mandate by the people of your countries to govern them well. To guard them and to protect them against any harm. And I ... as one of those civilians, playing by the rules, have a serious pledge... to at least have a look at the following documentary ... MEDICAL DOCUMENTARY youtu.be/TrjlB5Lze98 ... and to protect us by issuing the clearest statement to the people of Europe that you will guard their safety and health by calling for... 1) An immediate and total moratorium of all GMO related food, plants, animals and humans alike, until the following points have been met. 2) The execution of INDEPENDENT research according to real SCIENTIFIC standards by really INDEPENDENT and RESPECTED scientists. 3) An active strive on your part to change the 0,9% rule for labeling of GMO to zero, or at least explain upon which scientific research this arbitrary figure has been based. Also... that percentage rule logically suggests that the amount of GMO related influences in our food can be clearly measured with a clear percentage. Please have at least... food labeled with that obviously clearly measurable GMO percentage on all food so that we can choose for ourselves what to eat and what not to eat. Even milk from unmodified cows that eat modified food should be labeled as GMO infected as scientific evidence already point to the fact that GMO impacts on the whole food-chain. 4) To make explicit, on whatever your decisions will be, the procedures that have been followed and according to which scientific standards have been applied and on what scientific research these decisions have been based. 5) To explicitly call upon main stream media to cover this process in a transparent way. So I call upon you not to lead your people into the dark. This is the moment for you to make history by stating, expressing and acting upon the responsibilities that have been delegated to you by the people of the European democratic states, who ultimately depend upon your decisions for their lives and the lives of their children.
