more experimenting in the studio this week... almost hypnotising myself with the aim to research dance through a phenomenological approach where the event of researching itself becomes as relevant as the result/final product and where the act of questioning and unfolding is shared.. (and this explains the reason why /if anyone still wanders/ I keep posting videos of unfinished pieces, my wish is to share the research as fundamental part of the final event itself, and it is also to help the research to keep elements of openness and availability to viewers/witnesses in its stages of development..) so recapping : I am currently researching embodiment, what it means to the body through various layers of meaning and understandings of it, and more specifically, how felt sensations generate movement, and how movement can be tailored and refined to clarify more felt sensing and more movement qualities... playing with time,timing,sounds... sensing and shapes.... this week the image and movements of the spine awakening where the recurrent image I felt like working with, and the idea of -mudra-, energetic shapes held by the body.... here you are a bit documentation from this week... material still really raw and quite interna/implicit, slowed down through editing devices to be observed and re tailored for further development...(this week I added bits of music to play with external layers of sensations )... https://youtube/watch?v=4J7V_ej1gso
