more to come.... Arsenal are eyeing a stunning triple swoop on three potential additions. They are linked with signing defender Kostas Manolas, midfielder Adrien Rabiot, and forward Eduardo Vargas. Heres the lowdown on each, and the state of play with regards to the transfer deals. Kostas Manolas Greek defender Kostas Manolas is near to becoming an Arsenal player, with the Gunners said to have fought off competition from Juventus. The 23-year-old played alongside Joel Campbell at Olympiakos last season, and is valued at £8 million. He was last week left out of an Olympiakos friendly as transfer talks progressed. Goal have reported that the Manolas deal is so advanced that the World Cup centre-back is undergoing a medical ahead of the move. Adrien Rabiot Arsenal have had a bid accepted for French youth international midfielder Adrien Rabiot. French outlet RMC report that PSG have authorised the Gunners to start talks with the player, but Juventus and Roma are also interested. Rabiot, 19, has a contract which expires next summer and PSG are reluctant to lose him for free. He would not expect to become an immediate starter at Arsenal, but he is a defensive midfielder which the club need, and could hope to ease himself into a role. Eduardo Vargas Chilean forward Eduardo Vargas has reportedly told family members he is set to join Arsenal. Chilean newspaper La Tercera report that he expects to clinch a loan deal by Wednesday and will travel for a medical, after Napoli gave him permission to leave. Vargas would link up with international teammate Alexis Sanchez, and potentially help the big money addition from Barcelona settle, while adding depth to their forward line. Vargas scored three goals in 13 starts for Valencia last season. However there are doubts emerging about the deal, after Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio reported on Sunday night that Sunderland are the club to lodge a loan offer to Napoli, and QPR also linked, but no mention of the Gunners. Samuel Etoo The Sun report that former Chelsea striker and free agent Samuel Etoo is desperate for a chance to join Arsenal. Etoo has in the past week been linked to Liverpool and Everton, but is claimed to be keen to link up with Arsene Wenger, and willing to wait it out and delay talks with other clubs. Whether Arsenal are as keen to sign the 33-year-old, is another matter. Which Arsenal deal do you believe is most likely?
