msrebirth.org team leader(s), Youre IT!!!...the Revelations of the Revolution continues... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Hey, Yal, I AM making faith! I have talked with dozens and dozens of you as individuals over the past few weeks about helping with the major fundraiser for Rebirth when we do our Games Party Shindig at the Country Fisherman every year--and each of you have assured me that your are NOW ready, willing and able to help Rebirth--this time. I knew most people were pinked out after the slew of breast cancer the educational level, festive activities and events during the month of October. This month of raising awareness during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is so popular that even real men wear pink and have pink ribbons pinned to their clothing lapels for 31-days in a row. So, we at MS Rebirth made a very conscience decision and very well thought out plan to now do our yearly major Lets Go Fishing For A Cure! using bras for the ta-tas as bait for our Games Party Shindig fundraiser and get together during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season, (in November-December), instead of in October. And, this is the time of the year when the general citizens in Jackson and Mississippi are No.1 in the NATION with their giving and benevolent spirits of cash and on-line donations to non-profit, reputable organizations--like mine!!! YIPPEE!!! (S come on with the come on without further DELAY--TODAY)!!! While breast cancer is on everyones mind in October, breast cancer disease and diagnoses do not begin and end in October. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. EVERY three minutes, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer somewhere in our nation, and EVERY 13 minutes, someone loses their battle to this dreaded disease!!! Got it?! Good! If not, re-read!!! This is one of the main reasons why Rebirth and I are non-stop verbally beating on these facts, educating the larger community, being there physically, emotionally and financially for breast cancer patients, bonding with breast cancer survivors, and constantly asking Black and white, young and older, rich and poor, Democrats and Republican women this question: Have you had your annual mammogram yet? Have you had your boobies squeezed this year? If not, why not?! If so, you get a great big hug of thanks and support for taking LESS than 30 minutes to go get your potential life-saving ta-tas checked out by your breast exam specialist or radiologist. Naw--Yall! Breast cancer and the fact that it is the No. 2 killer of all women NEVER makes me too pooped out on being pinked up 355 days a year, 24-7. So, when Yall see me a comin, please dont go to a runnin from me and my credit/debit card PayPal account to swipe your card for any small, medium or large contribution OR, pull out your checkbook; OR wallet/purse for a cash donation--again, no matter how small, medium or large these type of MS Rebirth donations.. So, hopefully, dozens of you will find an hour of your time this coming Sat., Nov. 15 @ 11 a.m. to meet with us at our Rebirth office on Robinson Rd. to, i.e., pick up 8-10 tickets to pre-sale for the Games Party, flyers to distribute and pass out to others at your job, church, social/civic club and play locations, and share YOUR ideas on how to help make this Bras For Ta-Tas Games Party Shindig event the bestest and greatest ever. All are welcome, especially breast cancer survivors and their caregivers, family/church members and friends! And, keep the faith in the fight to find (and fund) a cure in a breast cancer journey of many, survival of few! I AM! ~Steph
