#musicmemorymonday This is one of my favorite poems of all time. I played this for Zack when we were chillin in his dorm room, spring semester of our junior year (2008). We both sat with our eyes closed and listened. We let the silence be when it was done. I mentioned a couple of my favorite lines, he asked me to play it one more time, and we spoke about life, our families, and where we came from (the same reoccurring themes throughout our friendship). That conversation ended with me hanging on his every word as he described what it was like playing football and winning state championships at Lockport. After that, we took it a quick stroll through campus, parked our butts on some grass, and proceeded to enjoy the sun.
