my Petra devotional for today was based on their song Love, inspired by the verse 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. The song talks about how we live in a world that desperately wants to know what true love is. Unfortunately, most of the time we are looking in all the wrong places. Our idea of love is often defined by what we see in films, music, and literature. In 1 Corinthians 13, we read Gods definition. God knows a lot about love, he originated it! We need a constant reminder of what true godly love is.
