my daughter was bitten by a dog tonight but.. I am very thankful the owner is very apologetic and understanding, the wound is deep but I am a very understanding person, the dog didnt maul her and is a pup who obviously needs some training, my daughter has been taught not to touch strange dogs and even though the owner gave the impression it was ok, it obviously from the dogs point of view it wasnt I dont blame either party accidents happen. I am not the sort of person (unless disfigured or mauled) to have an animal put down, but I ask all owners even if you think your dog is harmless please put a harness or a muzzle on your dog, they may have not displayed previous behaviours but that isnt to say they wont!
