my family and I just relocated to avl. Ive locked down a job and am on the schedule for 35+ hours. our housing arrangements have fallen through at the last minute. we see decent homes all over craigslist, but for some reason a lot of those landlords wont answer their phones! its just a little frustrating. we have just a couple days to figure something out before were on the streets. although maybe 2 or 3 years ago would have been a nice adventure, its not the ideal situation with my pregnant partner and a 2yr old. we havent brought much with us but clothes, and will be receiving the rest of our belongings once we rent a home. if anybody knows of anything for rent, available now, please fill me in. even a room for rent or a temporary situation for a week or two until we are able to rent our own space. I am a cook and I work on Charlotte street. I commute by bike, we have no car.
