my grannys obituary i found it on google LENA SWAMPY LENA IRENE SWAMPY (nee ROULETTE) Peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at the Health Sciences Centre, Lena Irene Swampy passed away at the age of 50 years. Lena was born at Dog Creek on December 6, 1950, spending most of her life in Fort Alexander and Winnipeg. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her children, Alfred Swampy of Winnipeg, Tammy Scott (Edwin) of Winnipeg, and Tanis Swampy of Winnipeg; husband John Swampy; three brothers, John Roulette, Marvin Coch and Norman Coch; one sister Georginia Spence; one step-brother Clarence Roulette; two step-sisters, Sylvia Roulette and Victoria Maytwayashing; seven grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Barbara Girard, Noelle LaForte, Beatrice Courchene, Marge Nepinak and Julia Courchene; brother-in-law Kenneth Swampy; special brother-in-law Henry Swampy; and very best friend Emile Ranville and family; there are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, March 21, Thursday, March 22 and Friday March 23 at the residence of Kenneth Swampy, South Shore Fort Alexander. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Fort Alexander, MB, with Fr. Laval Cloutier officiating.
