my letter to Joe Dear Joe (dirt) Severns You came into my life as a poor helpless boy who thought no one wanted you. I did. you was sad and lonely and we gave you company, you were left with nothing and we gave you everything, you did not like being left outside alone and we let you in....not just into our house our rooms and our kitchen but into our hearts. I know we have been through a lot together you and I. we have had some fun times. You loved our rides together from the country house to the other, you laid by my side when I was sick and did not get out of bed for two days. I cleaned up after you when your food went right through. I cleaned up after you also when the job came before you. I know it was not your fault but you got yelled at anyway...I am sorry. you never was one for playing catch but you was one for catching popcorn that I shared with you. You were more then my dog.... you have always been and always will be my Buddy and I am sure going to miss you when you are gone...I am so sorry I wont be there to hold you to the End but I will always hold you in my heart... I love you so much Joe Dirt Severns. To a true and faithful dog/companion of 15 years RIP 12/31/14
