my lil girl leah brought a book home a few weeks ago it was one of those put together yourself books. the pages were stapled together and run off a copy machine. when she gets off the bus and as soon as she gets in the door, she reads me these lil books. sometimes i have to sign them and she turns them back into her teacher. this one book i didnt have to sign she said. but....she didnt tell me she had to turn it back in. a week went by and she mentioned the book to me. you know i never throw anyway of yours from school, ill look for it. i tore the house apart lookin for it, couldnt find it anywhere. my lil leah was crying. i have to take that book back in she said. ok i will write your teacher a note, telling her to go easy on you, that you read it to me, but cant find it. so i did that, put it in her folder. 3 minutes before her bus would of come and us going outside to catch it, she was sitting on the couch eating her trick and treat candy, a lil bag of scittles, and dropped a scittle. it rolled under the couch and when she bent down to get it, there was her book under the couch. I found my book she screamed! see i said thats not just something that happens everyday.
