my pain and confusion my eyes are obviously wide open, my body, obviously looks agile and healthy, but; my mind needs a dose of ibuprofen, to reduce the ache and make me nervy. They described us as tomorrows leaders if only we would be readers. I gullibly believed and read my brains out feeling relieved. They said everyday is a chance, undeniably, the sayer was in a trance. They said we have fundamental rights fully embedded in the constitution. please,where are these rights? because; I cant find them in the constitution. They said we are equal before God. Thats why they are always remembered in Church before us. They said....They sss....They saaa.... Argh!!!!! the ache is forcefully back. my mind is shutting down. but before I lie on my back, permit me to ask questions while sitting down. If tomorrow was really for the youths, why are the people who were in power when my father was a toddler still in power? Why is my great grandpa still contesting for public office instead of retiring peacefully to a corner and negotiating with his creator? If readers are truly leaders,why did my first class degree certificate get eaten by obviously hungry rats? If everyday was truly a chance,why was Ken Saro Wiwa killed alongside with the others? If the so-called rights are really in the constitution, why would a rich man slap me on my right and walk away? Why are the wealthy always recognised before the wretched even in places of worship? Why are..............whyyyyyy?????????????? Ow! the ache again. my mind is shutting down again. my body looks fresh and gay but is weak and fray. but just like the praying mantis, my eyes is searching for fresh facts to feed on. No! dont revive me. allow my mind to wander about hazily. When you have answers to my whys, dont wake me up. When you have proofs for your answers, wake me up. When you have great evidence as to why Ken Saro Wiwa of blessed memory was killed, Hit me! When you have an antidote for my ailment, wake me up.
