my son always makes fun of the fact that i will write a consumers letter in a heartbeat,,, this is the response that I got from Argo Starch,, and I am thinking that I may want to take this further,,,,simply because I have 6 ,,,, SIX messed up canisters of starch that are not edible. :(,,,,, anywho here is there response. We sincerely regret your disappointing experience with Argo Corn Starch flavor. We strive daily to see that all our products meet the high-quality standards you have come to expect from us. I did previously speak to you and have alerted our quality department about the flavor of the cornstarch. We do only package 100% corn starch in our containers. If we would add any other ingredients to this product, we would be required to label it. We are not sure why there would another code underneath the label as the code found on the bottom of the container is the date we go by. Normally there is also some type of packaging date along with the Best By Date on the bottom of the container to indicate the exact day it was produced. Be assured that we have forwarded your current comments to our Quality Assurance and Marketing Departments for review. We are sending a coupon.
