#myspeech #done #thankU4listening GRADUATION SPEECH For PISONG ELEMENTARY SCHOOL By: hayaseN To the visitor, to the school head, Mr. Ben Casas, inspiring teachers, barangay officials, proud parents and to you my dear graduates, good morning and my congratulations. March 09, 21014 at exactly 8:00 in the evening, a text message popped up. It was from an unregistered number, excited kayo kong nibasa kay abi naq secret admirer but then the message was “Day Nikki good eves pwede ikaw among speaker sa graduation karung march 29 at 9 am ngita man gud mi successful pupil pisong, tolia. My excitement turned to amazement. My response to the invitation was not given immediately because I’m hesitant if I am capable and worth to be the graduation speaker. I asked advices from my mama and some of my trusted friends and their responses caused me to be here in front of you. Now, that I am here, let me share you my experiences in my life’s endeavour and hope these experiences will inspire you to make your life better than today. When I was once like you, there was a teacher who told someone “kana si Nikki, di jud na bright, gamay raman gud ang mga estudyante maong nahonor” and once I heard that phrase from someone whom she told, bagting daun akong dalunggan, nihuot aqng dughan u gang akong mga luha wa napunggan. Nahiubos jud q apan wa koy mahimo mao man iyang pagtan-aw kanako. I told myself that I should not be affected, what I did is, I made it as a challenge, a challenge that at every end of the school year my mama will come up on stage to put the symbol of success and hard work which is the medal on my neck and to prove that her perception of me is wrong. I don’t know if her perception on me was proven or not all I know now is thanking her for challenging me and molding me to become who I am now. That’s why, you dear graduates, if your teachers scolded, treated you like that, well don’t be mad, they are just challenging you because they love you and wanted you to become a successful one someday. That is why I at this moment, I would like you to stand and honour your teachers by thanking them for molding , inspiring and for preparing you for the next chapter and for attaining this momentous milestone. Now, face your teachers and say “THANK YOU” teachers. Your teachers are your second parents. If they are the second, who would be the first? Your biological parents. You’re lucky enough if you have your both parents because there will be four hands who will help you to reach your dreams. That’s why I’m very thankful to my mama even if she’s just alone, nakapahuman siya nako how much more kamo! Though it’s not easy to surmount the probabilities in life but if you have your God, your family specially your parents, you will become a successful if you just have the courage and eagerness to pursue your studies. My dear graduates, look at your parents, bisag pila pa ka eraser inyong gamiton d na kapala sa kalipay nga ilang gibati karun while looking at you with your togas samot najud ug itom na ng inyong toga. It’s not easy to find money para lang ipabalong inday ug ni dodong, nya himan-himan wa nay gi-snacks ka yang computeran moy gibusog. Intawon, gpabalunan ta arun di ta gutmon sa atong pagtuon. Our parents, nag-ugmad itong kabaolan, atong magtutudlo, gpaningot ug tinudlo, ang mga estudyante naglingkod ra because you are the consumers of knowledge, your teachers are producers and your parents are definitely not the prey. They are your armours, camouflage so that you’ll not be eaten by the prey. Like your teachers, they must be thanked for bringing you to school, for the guidance and support they have shared and for the unconditional love. Please rise and take a bow to salute your parents. We have thanked our mentors and our parents; now let’s not forget to thank PAPA GOD for letting us borrow this life we are enjoying now. We must thank Him for making us stronger in facing the demands of life, the dilemmas and the different calamities. We will just remember that He’s just reminding us that He is alive. No matter how strong the earthquake and typhoon are, Filipinos faith in Him must not and cannot be broken. Hindi natitinag ang pusong Pilipino. Live this, everyday, make this as a reminder that will boost you to attain the highest education, to accomplish God’s task not just for yourself, but for others and para sa Bayan ni Juan, our beloved country. As Sec. Luistro said in his message “ may this year’s theme “hindi natitinag ang pusong Pilipino” reminds us of the energy that should continue to animate our institutions which in turn would help us give to each of our learners the best that they deserve”. Dear graduates, before I end this message, let me impart the quote which I live for a long time and this says “make today better than yesterday, and tomorrow better than today”. Again, congratulations Pisong Elementary School graduates batch 2013-2014. I wish you all the best and may God Bless you! Thank you!
