ndian troops have massacred thousands of innocent Kashmiri youth - TopicsExpress

ndian troops have massacred thousands of innocent Kashmiri youth in staged gun battles dubbing them as militants. Besides, being an effective method to suppress the Kashmiri populace, the “fake encounter” as a policy has other motives also. First of all, considering Kashmiri youth as a potential threat to its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir, India wants to eliminate them through such encounters. Secondly, through such killings, New Delhi intends to give an impression to the international community as if freedom movement is actually terrorism against India being sponsored by Pakistan. Whereas, every time it turns out to be a fabricated and concocted story just to malign Pakistan. In a similar incident, military authorities in Indian Occupied Kashmir claimed that on 23 June, 2014, a Pakistani militant, who had escaped the security dragnet at least half a dozen times over past one year, was killed in an 18-hours long encounter in Krankshawan colony of Sopore town. Name of the slain militant was declared as Mehmood Bhai, alias Hurraira. The house where he was hiding along with another militant Javed Ahmed Matto was totally destroyed; however, Javed was allegedly able to escape successfully from the site. This incident also appears to be fabricated with a malicious mindset against Pakistan. One can easily imagine the veracity of the story as it took 18 long hours to nab just two so-called militants, while the operation was conducted by a joint party of 52 RR, 22 RR, CRPF and SOG personnel. And, if it is taken as correct, then one can seriously question the efficiency of Indian security forces. After the encounter, people in large numbers came out on roads to protest against the killing of this so-called Pakistani militant and demanded body for the burial. However, callous Indian force resorted to firing, baton charge and tear-gassing thus killing one more innocent Kashmiri civilian and injuring many. Nevertheless, protestors kept on chanting pro-Pakistan, anti-India and pro-freedom slogans, which is a clear manifestation of Kashmiri public’s admiration for Mujahideen, Pakistan and the liberation movement. In the given circumstances, there is every reason to believe that over 6500 unnamed graves, which have been discovered in the occupied territory, are largely of those people, who have been killed in fake encounters and in custody. According to the reports of human rights organizations more than 8000 innocent Kashmiris have so far been subjected to forced disappearances. The truth in Jammu and Kashmir remains buried in the graves and the officers of rogue Indian military might are engaged in their hunt for fresh victims for rewards. The question is, will the international community be able to expose the truth and punish India for its crimes against humanity? Or India will ever be ashamed of its inhuman and barbaric attitude towards innocent Kashmir masses.
