ne and a half year old Blue is starved - not for food but for affection. He’s a 62-pounder who is ever so anxious to play with his handler. Blue is simply frantic to be close to a human & not so close to other strange dogs. Now Blue is a neutered male so that may be the reason why he had some reservations about the strange dog they brought in to meet him. No growls, snarls or bites were exchanged; but Blue was on alert. Blue’s nutrition doesn’t appear to have been of a high quality & he consequently has some hair loss. He’s been labeled for a New Hope Only adoption and we fervently hope that just one kind New Yorker will seek him out. We know nothing of his history since he was found as a stray but we do know that Blue craves companionship. Blue’s chances are slim as he has no claim to a “specialness” that will grip someone’s heart. His special qualities are still hidden deep down inside, waiting to be discovered.
