new nz cabinet - working for nz! Jonathan Coleman is the new minister of health and Amy Adams has been given justice in Prime Minister John Keys new cabinet. Anne Tolley replaces Paula Bennett as social development minister and Simon Bridges has taken over transport from Gerry Brownlee. Ms Bennett has been promoted in the rankings with state services, social housing and associate finance portfolios. Michael Woodhouse has taken over police from Mrs Tolley and also becomes minister for workplace relations and safety - a new portfolio. Mr Brownlee becomes minister of defence, the portfolio previously held by Dr Coleman, and retains responsibility for the Canterbury rebuild. Nikki Kaye is the new ACC minister, a portfolio previously held by former justice minister Judith Collins who resigned over the dirty politics scandal. Maggie Barry goes straight into cabinet as the new minister for arts, culture and heritage, conservation and senior citizens. Louise Upston and Paul Goldsmith will be ministers outside cabinet, holding a variety of minor portfolios. Two ministers previously outside cabinet have been promoted. They are Todd McClay, the revenue minister, and Sam Lotu-Iiga, who has been given corrections. Craig Foss remains a minister but has been demoted. He will serve outside cabinet as minister for small business and statistics. He previously held the commerce portfolio. CABINET MINISTERS 1.
