news-eleven/local-news A Country’s Foreign Debt Burden Myanmar people did nothing. Myanmar people knew nothing. Myanmar people didn’t borrow anything. But, Military government did. Now, our country has debt of $ 9,500 million to pay back to international banks, organizations and other countries. Who will settle? We, Myanmar people! We have to pay back. Is it fair? Military government borrowed money from international society and they misused them. They became richer and richer by implementing useless big projects. They just showed the projects just to take bribery and corruption. Now, our people have to pay back. Without knowing or doing anything, citizens are in debt of $ 158.33 each. If I had known this information earlier before I met Mr.Ulrich Zachau, Country Director of World Bank, on March 18, I would have requested him not to lend our country again. (or if they want to lend, I would have requested to make strong, relevant and meaningful preconditions) ငါတို႕ျပည္သူေတြလည္း ဘာမွမသိရ၊ ဘာမွမလုပ္ရဘဲ အခုေတာ့ တိုင္းျပည္က ေဒၚလာသန္းေပါင္း 9,500 ေက်ာ္အေၾကြးတင္ေနၿပီ။ ဒီအေၾကြးေတြကို အၾကမ္းဖ်င္း လူဦးေရ သန္း 60 နဲ႕တြက္ၾကည့္ရင္၊ ႏုိင္ငံသား တစ္ဦးခ်င္းမွာ 158 ေဒၚလာေက်ာ္ အေၾကြးတင္ေနၿပီ။ သယံဇာတေတြကို ေရာင္းခ်င္သလိုေရာင္းတာအားမရလို႕၊ ႏုိင္ငံတကာကေန ေခ်း။ ဘယ္သူ႕ကိုမွအသိမေပးဘဲေခ်းခ်င္သလိုေခ်း။ သံုးခ်င္ သလိုသံုး။ ၿပီးေတာ့ ဘာတခုမွ မရွင္းဘဲ မသိသလိုေလး အသာေလးထြက္သြား။ အခုတခါေနာက္ထပ္ ေဘာင္းဘီခၽြတ္အစိုးရက ထပ္ေခ်းျပန္ၿပီ။ Development ကိုေငြရွိမွလုပ္လို႕ရမွာကို သိပါတယ္။ ဒီ Capitalism World ထဲမွာ ေခ်းတဲ့သူေတြကလည္း အက်ဳိးလိုလို႕ေညာင္ေရေလာင္းတာလည္းရွိပါတယ္။ အစိုးရကလည္းအရင္အခ်ဳိးအတုိင္းပဲ။ ဘာမွပြင့္လင္းျမင္ သာမႈမရွိ။ ေနာင္ 2015 အစိုးရသစ္လက္ထက္မွာ တိုင္းျပည္က ခ်ဳိနဲ႕သားေရ ရယ္၊ အေၾကြးေတြရယ္နဲ႕ပဲ က်န္ခဲ့ မွာကိုေတာ့ စိတ္မေကာင္းဘူးဗ်ာ။ ဒီမိုကေရစီလို႕ေအာ္ေနတဲ့အစိုးရက Transparency, Accountability and Responsibility ေလးေတာ့ရွိသင့္တာၾကာပါၿပီ။ ၿပီးေတာ့ အခုမွလူ႕ေလာကထဲကိုေရာက္လာမယ့္ ကေလးေတြအပါအ၀င္ ႏုိင္ငံသားေတြဟာဘာမွမသိလိုက္ရဘဲ ကိုယ့္ေခါင္းေပၚကို အေၾကြးထုပ္ႀကီးေရာက္ေနတဲ့ဘ၀ကို မထားခဲ့ပါနဲ႕လို႕ပဲ ေျပာပါရေစ။ ခ်းေငြမ်ားကို အက်ဳိးရွိစြာ၊ မခိုးမ၀ွက္၊ လာဘ္မစားဘဲ Poverty Reduction, Development Projects စတဲ့ေနရာေတြမွာမွန္မွန္ကန္ကန္အသံုးခ်ေပးပါလို႕ပဲေတာင္းဆိုခ်င္ပါတယ္ခင္ဗ်ာ
