/////////////////////////////// news flash/////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Hyderabad , December 15: Hyderabad Police will write to the Road Transport Authority (RTA) seeking to cancel the driving licences of the parents of those children, who are caught driving vehicles without the valid document. Parents will be held responsible if their minor children are driving their vehicles without valid licenses. We seek cancellation of their (parents) driving licenses and will write to RTA in this regard, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Zone) V B Kamalasan Reddy said. The DCP said they have started initiating prosecution against the motorists indulging in rash and negligent driving, under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which was earlier done under Motor Vehicles Act.
