nice place to stay downtown KrisL50323, Urbandale, Iowa (01/08/2015 ) This hotel is a great place to stay when in downtown area. It is a short walk to the CenturyLink Center (convenient for concerts) or for TD Ameritrade Stadium (College World Series). The rooms are very quiet and have been nice the 4 times we have stayed there. There is a great workout room and a pool which has a waterslide for older kids and a water funzone ( basically a small playground with slides) for younger kids. The restaurant attached has a great beer menu and delicious appetizers. We have often gone there after swimming for a quick bite. It is also a short drive to the downtown market.
