#noahmovie: OK. Ive been asked to give some commentary about the Noah Movie by several. So here are the major thoughts: 1. There really is not a whole lot of details about the entire event in the Bible. It really is a quick overview of what happened in our Bible with many details missing. 2. The movie didnt follow the biblical account that we do have. It got wrong so many things: Gods actual Will, Noahs sons wives, length of time in the ark, the watchers, and many more. 3. The movie added characters know as watchers which as I understand are from sources from outside scripture mainly from the book of Enoch. I also think their is a quick reference to them in the biblical book of Daniel. (4:17) 4. The story was told about creation, the fall of man, the growing evilness of man, man being the reason for the flood, Noah building an ark as God directed, a world wide flood as Gods judgment, Gods grace to the undeserving Noah and family, the starting over from Noahs family. 5. Didnt show Gods covenant with Noah which is extremely important in human history. 6. It was an engaging movie from the start. 7. Lots of creative liberty taken in the movie. 8. A great conversation starter and tool to discuss the actual story with others. It will get others talking and asking questions.
